SASTRA MISTIK

Arti kata, ejaan, dan contoh penggunaan kata “mistik” menurut Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI). Berikut ini makna dan tulisan kata mistik yang benar:

mis·tik n 1 subsistem yg ada dl hampir semua agama dan sistem religi untuk memenuhi hasrat manusia mengalami dan merasakan emosi bersatu dng Tuhan; tasawuf; suluk; 2 hal gaib yg tidak terjangkau dng akal manusia yg biasa.

Wahdatul Wujud (bahasa Jawa: manunggaling kawula lan gusti)[1] adalah doktrin yang muncul jauh setelah Rasullullah wafat. Doktrin ini dipelopori oleh Ibnu Arabi (w.638H) yang condong kepada Panteisme[2] karena mengatakan “Makhluk adalah Allah, Allah adalah Makhluk“.[3] Sedangkan Allah berfirman bahwa dia berbeda dengan makhluknya, baik wujud, dzat, maupun sifat.[4][5] Wahdatul wujud sendiri artinya bersatunya Tuhan dengan manusia yang telah mencapai hakiki atau dipercaya telah suci.[1] Ibnu Arabi bersyair di nukil dalam bukunya,

“ Hamba adalah Rabb, dan Rabb merupakan hamba Aku bingung, siapa gerangan yang menjadi mukallaf.[3]

Wahdatul Wujud

Frasa ini terdiri dari dua kata, Wahdat dan Wujud. Wahdat berakar kata dari [W] [H] [D], bermakna satu, kesatuan, penyatuan. Sedangkan Wujud  bermakna ada, keberadaan, eksistensi. Istilah Wahdatul Wujud muncul dari dunia Sufi. Menurut faham sufi ini, makhluk bisa menemukan derajat yang melampaui Syariat dengan menemukan hakikat sejati. Hakikat sejati itu adalah hilangnya sifat-sifat ciptaan, dan sang sufi menemukan hakikat ketuhanan. Tuhan dianggap memasuki alam diri makhluk dan terjadilah persatuan dua eksistensi menjadi satu keberadaan, yaitu Tuhan itu sendiri.

Pelopor faham ini diduga adalah Abu Manshur Al-Hallaj yang dihukum mati oleh para fuqaha lantaran fahamnya ini. Faham lain yang hampir serupa dengan Wahdatul Wujud ini adalah Hulul, yang mengandaikan bahwa Makhluk beranjak naik ke alam ketuhanan dan menyatu dengan eksistensi Tuhan. Selain itu juga ada Fana’, yaitu hancur leburnya hakikat kemanusiaan. Adanya manusia sebenarnya tak ada karena kefana’annya, yang abadi dan ada hanyalah Tuhan.

Wahdatus Syuhud

Makna verbalnya adalah kesatuan kesaksian. Syuhud berasal dari kata [Sy] [H] [D], yang berarti melihat, menyaksikan. Wahdatus Syuhud adalah faham yang lebih moderat dari pada Wahdatul Wujud. Menurut faham sufi ini, yang dialami oleh Al-Hallaj, Al-Busthami, Suhrawardi bukanlah kesatuan wujud, melainkan kesatuan kesaksian. Karena, menurut faham ini, tak mungkin makhluk menyatu dengan Tuhan secara Eksistensi. Yang dialami oleh para Sufi itu adalah Mukasyafah, tersingkapnya tabir-tabir mata batin antara manusia dengan Tuhan. Saat Mukasyafah itu, mereka sudah tak mengindahkan apa-apa lagi karena pada saat itu yang disaksikannya hanyalah keindahan sang maha pencipta. Karena asyiknya menikmati kecintaan dengan sang Tuhan, mereka tak menyadari lagi hakikat diri mereka.

Syathahat

Istilah ini poluler di kalangan para ahli tasawuf dan pengikutu tarekat sufi. Syathahat adalah ekspresi, pernyataan-pernyataan yang terlontar sesaat sang sufi mengalami ekstrase, trance kepada Tuhan. Biasanya Syathahat ini tak disadari oleh sang sufi sendiri, karena sebenarnya mereka sedang berdialog dengan Tuhan. Rumi, saat trance, ia menari-nari, berputar-putar sembari menyenandungkan puisi.

Al-Hallaj mengekspresikan Syathahat-nya dengan berteriak ana al-haq (Akulah Tuhan). Masih banyak lagi ungkapan-ungkapan Syathahat, misalnya, Ana Allah (Akulah Allah), La ilaha illa Ana (Tiada Tuhan selain Aku), La ana illa ana (Tiada aku selain aku). Ungkapan yang paling terkenal adalah ungkapan al-Hallaj  yang menyulut kontrofersi itu, Ma fi jubbati illa Allah (di dalam baju jubahku ini tak ada siapa-siapa selain Allah).

pro·fe·tik /profétik/ a berkenaan dng kenabian atau ramalan: semangat — sastra sufi dl dunia modern dipandang masih relevan.

Sufi adalah penyebutan untuk orang-orang yang mendalami sufisme atau ilmu tasawwuf. Secara umum istilah “sufi” dikatakan berasal dari kata suf (صوف), yang artinya kain wol, merujuk kepada jubah atau khirqah yang biasa dikenakan para Sufi di masa awal. Namun tidak semua Sufi mengenakan jubah, sehingga ada juga yang berpendapat bahwa kata ini berasal dari kata saf, yakni barisan dalam sholat. Pendapat lain mengatakan kata ini berasal shafa (صفا), yang berarti “kemurnian”. Hal ini menaruh penekanan pada sufisme pada kemurnian hati dan jiwa.

Prof. Dr. H. Istadiyantha, M.S.

Istadiyantha is an Indonesian working as a lecturer in Arabic in The Indonesian Language Department at Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia. He obtained his doctorate Degree in Middle Eastern Studies at Gadjah Mada University in 2014. He was the Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs and the Vice Dean of Finance and General Affairs (1999-2003 and 2003-2007, respectively) in the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. In addition, he is the editor-in-chief of Journal of Center of Middle Eastern Studies (CMES). In 1992, He has been granted as the first place of Teaching Award in the faculty-level and the second place of Teaching Award in the university-level upon his dedication and loyalty in teaching. In 2016, the President of Republic of Indonesia awarded him “Satya Lencana Karya Satya” to acknowledge his discipline, loyalty and capacity to be a good role model in serving the nation in education sector for more than 30 years. Scopus ID 57193235451. His current activities are in the fields of Arabic, middle eastern culture, and cross-cultural studies. He published several articles and books about philology, Arabic language, and religion. He was the main speaker and first author in Universitas Indonesia International Seminar of the Middle East The Dynamics of the Middle East Culture After Arab Spring in 2015. Head of international conference Icoms 2016 about Humanism in the Perspective of Islamism and Global Terrorism, in 2016. The presenter in international Conference in IAIN Salatiga, 2017: The Desputes Over Terrorism: Between Committing Violance For The God’s Sake or Violance Against The Command of God? In 2009 he took the opportunity as a speaker for the Home staff of the Indonesian Embassy in Egypt which was attended by embassy staff, officials, and ambassadors. He was apointed as a resource person on “Penataran bagi Para Calon Pengajar Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing” [A Workshop for Indonesian Language Teacher Candidates for Foreign Speakers] October 14-17, 2009, at the Indonesian Cultural Center (Puskin), Sekolah Indonesia Cairo (SIC), Cairo, Egypt. Founding Chair of the Arabic Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences UNS, 2010. He received certification from the National Sharia Council, Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) as the Sharia Supervisory Board, 2015. In 2017 he had the opportunity to be a speaker at the International Conference in Malaysia, MENTION2017, 17th Biennial International Conference Media and Communication, Malaysia in November 20-22, 2017. His Professor's Inauguration Speech entitled “Pemaknaan Baru Terhadap Hubungan Indonesia – Timur Tengah dalam Rangka Menyongsong Era 5.0” [Redefining the Indonesia - Middle East Relations in Towards the Era 5.0] in 2019 in the field of Middle Eastern Issues. He co-authored a book with Fatkhu Rohmatin, S.S., M.Sos. entitled Hayaatul-hayawaan: Karya Syaikh Kamaluddin Ad-Damiri, published by the National Library of Indonesia, volume I, 2020. He was a speaker in the webinar entitled “Wabah dan Penyakit dalam Perspektif Naskah-naskah Kuno”. He wrote a book entitled Peradaban Lama Timur Tengah [The Ancient Middle Eastern Civilizations]. Currently he serves as a lecturer at the Postgraduate School at Sebelas Maret University and in 2020 - 2021 as he is a guest lecturer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Additionally, a member of the Academic Senate and the Board of Trustees at Sebelas Maret University as a legal based university in 2020 - 2025..
